WARRANTY CLAIMS

For any matters related to the warranty of your Its Aluminum product, please first contact the dealer or installer who performed the installation. They will assist you in diagnosing the issue and determining if the parts are covered under warranty.

If your Aluminum dealer has not responded to your initial inquiry within 5 business days, please complete the form below and our warranty support team will get back to you within 2 business days.

 

PRODUCT RETURN POLICY

 

TERMS AND CONDITIONS – ITSALUMINUM.COM

Its Aluminum, at its discretion, may accept manufactured products for return and material credit, subject to the following conditions:

  1. Returns are not accepted on all orders. (RETURN APPROVALS ARE LIMITED TO DAMAGE, MANUFACTURING DEFECTS, AND/OR INCORRECT ORDER FULFILLMENT).

  2. A responsible person must be present on-site to verify the packing list and/or bill of lading (BOL) before unpacking.

  3. NOTICE: Customers have 5 business days from receipt to audit materials, document, record, and report any claim due to damage, manufacturing defects, and/or fulfillment errors.

  4. A formal RMA (Return Material Authorization) number issued by Its Aluminum is required.

  5. The RMA request must include the following:

    • Delivery or pick-up date
    • Part number(s)
    • Product description
    • Quantities
    • Sales order number
    • Invoice number
    • Reason for return / Damage documentation

  6. Materials must be returned within 20 days of receiving the RMA number and/or after three (3) failed attempts to pick up the product. After this period, the RMA number will be canceled and no longer valid.
    Materials purchased more than 30 days prior to the return request are not eligible for return.

  7. Credit will only be issued for quantities received by Its Aluminum in good condition and subject to inspection.

  8. NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED.

SECTION 1 – Product Warranty

Its Aluminum expressly warrants that its aluminum products are free from manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship if properly installed and maintained.

  • 1.1 Warping: The product shall be free of warping not associated with structural support.
  • 1.2 Corrosion: Warranty covers rust and corrosion when applied by an approved applicator and properly maintained.

  • 1.3–1.4: If the product is defective, Its Aluminum may replace the affected part. Labor and additional material costs are not covered.

SECTION 2 – Finish Warranty

During the warranty period, the finish is covered against:

  • 2.1 Cracking: No visible cracks or fissures.

  • 2.2 Chalk: Shall not exceed level 6 per ASTM D4214.

  • 2.3 Color Retention: No more than 5 ΔE units (CIE Lab).

  • 2.4 Gloss Retention: At least 30% of the original gloss level.

  • 2.5 Adhesion: The coating shall not peel according to AAMA 2604-02.

  • 2.6: Its Aluminum may repair, recoat, or replace the defective product at its discretion. Labor and accessory costs are not covered.

SECTION 3 – Terms and Conditions

  • 3.1: The product warranty (Section 1) remains valid as long as the original owner resides and owns the property. The finish warranty (Section 2) is valid for 15 years from the installation date.

  • 3.2: Product registration is required for the warranty to be valid.

  • 3.3: The warranty is transferable once, within 90 days of ownership change.

  • 3.4: If repair or replacement is not feasible, Its Aluminum may refund up to the original purchase value of the product.

  • 3.5: Exclusions – The warranty does not cover:

  • (a) Handling or shipping damage

  • (b) Scratches after installation

  • (c) Standing water

  • (d) Natural woodgrain variation

  • (e) Extremely corrosive environments

  • (f) Force majeure (hurricanes, fire, war, etc.)

  • (g) Inadequate maintenance (proof required)

  • (h) Claims filed outside the eligible period or without approval

  • (i) Color variation from touch-up repairs

  • (j) Hail or woodpecker damage is covered

  • 3.6 Annual Maintenance Required: Clean using a soft sponge, water, and a non-abrasive detergent (pH 5–9). Pressure washers and harsh chemicals are not recommended.

  • 3.7: This warranty does not cover installation errors or workmanship.

This warranty replaces any previous written or verbal agreement.
No additional warranties are expressed or implied, unless required by law.
